Mrs O S Boyd Dies In Auto Crash Funeral Rites Held
Mrs. O S Boyd, killed in an automobile crash near Ames Sunday, November 24, funeral services were held Friday at Salem Lutheran Church after a prayer service at Erickson Funeral Home. The Salem choir and several guests attended. Surviving children include Paula Tollefson, Robert Boyd, Donald Boyd, and Otis Boyd Jr. Funeral attendance reached from multiple Minnesota and Iowa towns. gifts totaled over 500 dollars to missions and church funds.

Roland Community Club Plans Drive for Main Street Decor
The Roland Community Club held its postponed monthly meeting on Tuesday evening. A decoration plan for Main street and kiddie treats was discussed and a committee of Elliott Thompson, A R Erickson and Arnold Cole was formed to coordinate with an American Legion group on timing and location.
