Methodist Church Dedication Sparks Rocky Ford Community
The dedication of a modern Methodist church marks a new era for Rocky Ford hailing social and religious life. The edifice at Elm avenue and Ninth street features a spacious auditorium, a carpet of lighting with opalescent windows, a full organ, and fourteen classrooms. The opening services drew about 750 attendees with choir, sermons by Dr Harris and Rev Chase, and a fundraising drive that exceeded prior commitments.
