The 1908 Rocky Ford High School graduation set a record for size as diplomas were awarded at the Grand Opera House. Dr Libby of the State University spoke on the education of sentiments while Loyd Robertson topped the class and Alumni activities followed with histories of early schools and a large reunion at K P Hall.

Holland Day marked by Dutch themes at Rocky Ford club
The Rocky Ford Woman's Club closed its 1907 08 season with a Holland Day program hosted by President Mrs. Van Buskirk. Members heard papers on Wilhelmina and Holland life, heard songs, and viewed Dutch bric a brac as the gathering of over sixty ladies ended the year. Hezekiah Pummill of South Salem Ohio died in Olathe Kansas aged 96. he left eight children, including Mrs. Emery Robb of Rocky Ford Colorado.
