City Council mulls water and health issues in routine session

Amputation of Thumb After Sand Burr Injury
John Deweese suffered a sore thumb since December from a sand burr prick. Despite partial healing, infection worsened until Dr. Fenton amputated the thumb above the second joint last Friday. The bone was badly diseased, leaving him without the thumb. This is the third or fourth such wound reported in the Enterprise.
