Reunion of 65th Indiana Survivors Held at Mt. Vernon
The D Company veterans met in Mt. Vernon last Monday with about thirty-five survivors present. Dinner and speeches accompanied the reunion in the Odd Fellows hall, with many attendees from this city. The Cypress Beach site is planned for the next company gathering. Mrs. Marion Richey sustained serious injuries Wednesday afternoon when gored by a cow at her North Fifth Street home, breaking three ribs and suffering additional bruising.
