The Spencer County Teachers Association held a well attended two day session at the Auditorium with State Superintendent Robert J. Aley and H. B. Wilson of Decatur Ill. presenting lectures. Attendance matched typical levels but clashed with a Southwestern meeting, leading to a unanimous decision to disband for now and affiliate with the Southwestern Teachers Association meeting in Evansville.

Mrs. Mary Kincaid Dies After Short Illness
Mrs. Mary Kincaid wife of the late Wm Y Kincaid died at her home west of the city Friday night after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Shiloh church conducted by Rev BR Bryan. She is survived by three sons Charles Willis and Claude Kincaid.
