Flag Raisins Postponed for Rockport Supreme Honor Flag
The district supreme honor flag won in the Liberty Loan drive for Spencer county will not be dedicated next Sunday as planned. It is expected to arrive from Evansville this week and be brought to Rockport by Evansville delegates, with date to be fixed after Mr. Sonntag returns from Washington. The Southern Railway service flag with 600 stars, donated by Western district employees, was loaned for display and will accompany the unfurling of the Supreme Honor flag.

St Meinrad Defeats the Tell City Grays in Baseball

Collision near Green River sinks one man at Evansville
A motor boat Elk and barge carrying livestock collided with the Evansville pleasure yacht Princess below Green River mouth at 4:30 PM. Princess passengers included 24 Southern Telephone Co. workers. one man, Wm. Mackey, drowned after jumping overboard. No injuries to other vessels. Princess towed to Evansville. Elk and barge undamaged.
