Crampton Named Governor of National Military Home
A. B. Crampton of Delphi Indiana has been appointed governor of the National Military Home at Marion Indiana succeeding George W. Steele whose resignation takes effect June 1. The post carries a 3000 dollar annual salary. Officials Get New Quarters In Old Farmers Hotel
County purchases the south half of the block housing the courthouse and will move offices of the county superintendent surveyor assessor coroner attendance officer and probation officer to the old Farmers hotel. Rent for the moved offices will end once they are ready. The move secures a full block of property in Rockport and eliminates external rents. Within days the offices will operate from the old hotel behind the courthouse on Third Street.
