The will of Wolfgang Nemer, a Fulda resident, dated May 7, 1910, was entered of record last Saturday. Joseph M. Nemer and John G. Kreiser are named as executors without court intervention or bond. All deceased’s property goes to Frank W. Kleiser except $200 to Catherina Schaefer. the will notes it was written by the testator.

Boonville Man Sentenced in Boonville Manslaughter Case

Clyde Barnhill of Boonville was found guilty of manslaughter by a Warrick circuit court jury and sentenced to two to twenty one years. He shot Bud O Laughlin on Boonville streets over alleged attentions Barnhill's wife had received.

Death of Former Rockport Woman Parrish

The Owensboro Inquirer reports the death of Mrs. William C. Parrish in a Philadelphia hospital last Friday. She was formerly Miss Maude Lemmons of Rockport, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elick Lemmons, with her mother Mrs. Eliza Lemmons now living in Philadelphia. Parrish died after an operation about a month earlier. friends in Rockport express their regret.

County Auditor Auction Sees Three Land Tracts Sold

The county auditor offered at the courthouse door last Monday three tracts of land mortgaged to the state to secure school fund loans. Two tracts sold, one bid in by the auditor for the state, and no bid for the remaining tract.

Richland City High School Awaits State Commission

State Inspector Pearcy told Richland City officials the high school will receive commission once library is enlarged with 200 dollars worth of books on agriculture domestic science literature and history. He praised the building and grounds and urged better equipment including a physical laboratory and expanded manual training and domestic science facilities. Accompanied by County Superintendent Strassell Township Trustee Wilkerson they approved progress and promised follow through.

High School Notes Highlight St Patrick’s Songs and Library Additions

The high school opened with a piano program by Myrtle Posey Charlotte Pyatt and Esther Walker under Jeanette Hackleman. Irish songs honored St Patrick’s day and received strong student praise. An eighth grade examination was written on Saturday by Trustee Atkinson at the college building with about seventy participants including thirty four from Rockport.
