Flag Day Observed At Hackleman School
Flag day was observed at Hackleman school with Lynn and Beeler pupils attending. Miss Leola Branch led the assembly and the flag ceremony then the students sang The Star Spangled Banner and formed a patriotic program of songs recitations and dialogues. Silverdale Food Club Holds Second Meeting At Schoolhouse

Louis Krueger and John W. Feigel transported Wm. G. Halbruge to the Odd Fellows home in Greensburg Indiana last Monday. Halbruge had long been afflicted yet remained able to walk with canes until three years ago. In the last two years he could not move about and nearly lost his sight. He is reported to be pleased with his new surroundings.
