Mrs. Jane M. Daugherty died suddenly last Friday in Evansville at her daughter’s home from heart trouble. She was 65. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Hammond and Mrs. Goldin Phelps, and three brothers, Elijah and John Spradlin of Shiloh and Douglas Spradlin of Rockport. The family lived here before moving to Evansville six years ago. Funeral services were at Shiloh church Sunday, led by Rev. EK. M. Davis, with burial in Shiloh cemetery.

J. L. Sullivan, longtime conductor on the Rockport branch of the Southern railway for nineteen years, is promoted to the Evansville to French Lick run. He completed his last local run last Friday and starts the new assignment this Wednesday. The Sullivan family plans to move to Evansville on April first, and his successor here will be chosen by early next week from the oldest Southern employee willing to take the post.

James Fodder, about seventy, was found dead Tuesday afternoon in his wagon at the McKenney warehouse where he had just unloaded corn for Alva Glenn. Death was due to heart trouble. He leaves a wife and five married children. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon with burial in Hatfield as Rev. Dempsey of Yankeetown conducted.

John W Wedeking aged about sixty five died Tuesday at his Franklin Indiana home from complications of diseases. He was born in Dale and lived there most of his life until ten years ago then moved to Franklin where he worked as a contractor. He is survived by his wife two daughters Cora Wagner and Lula Wedeking of Franklin one brother C W Wedeking of Dale and sisters Mrs Mary Kokomo or Santa Claus and Mrs Carrie Reiners of Evansville. Funeral services were held Friday morning in Dale with Rev Ackermann of Santa Claus in charge.
