President urged to oppose ship subsidy measure

Miss Dixie Schumacher Returns for Grass Township Visit

Miss Dixie Schumacher arrived last Sunday from Palo Alto California for a month long visit with her parents Mr and Mrs Sam Schumacher in Grass Township. She is stationed at the U S hospital for disabled soldiers in Palo Alto. The hospital housed many World War I veterans and the article notes 400 disabled soldiers in the facility.
