Benjamin Hurst died at his Vine street home last Thursday at 11 45 PM after a brief illness. Born June 24 1843 in Grayson county Kentucky he married Maggie Hahn on December 30 1873. A veteran of Company K 146 Indiana Regiment he lived an honest life loved and respected by many. funeral at U B church Sunday 2 PM led by Rev J L Bertram with Sunset Hill burial.

LYSIAS A BEAVER DIES AFTER SHORT ILLNESS
Lysias A. Beaver died Sunday at his North Sixth Street home after bronchial pneumonia. He was 72 and survived by a widow and three sons Oscar of this city Harry of Evansville and Cave of Alabama. Funeral services were held at the United Brethren church Monday afternoon at cat o'clock with Rev. J. M. Daniel and Rev. L. Battram officiating. Interment followed in Sunset Hill cemetery.
