Theodore Hall Sr. dies after illness in Spencer County
Theodore Hall Sr. died at his Fourth street home Wednesday morning after a two week illness of pneumonia. Funeral services are set for Friday at 1 PM from the Christian church with Rev L N Warble officiating. Burial will be in Zion cemetery. Born in Switzerland county, he moved to Spencer county as a youth of fifteen. He would have reached his 75th birthday last October. Survived by wife Mrs. Lide Graham Hall, three sons Frank and Allen Hall of near Fockport and Rev Theodore Hall of Benton, and daughter Mrs. Jennie Hargis of Los Angeles California.

In a special session on December 29, 1911, Dr. J. R. Lang was appointed county physician for the year with a salary of $90. Reports from Henry Sohn, Auditor White, and Recorder Hill on fees and collections were approved. Bridges Weaver and Parker were reported completed in Harrison and Grass townships respectively. The January 1, 1912 record notes John T. Stevenson as elected county auditor and John W. Crooks as deputy auditor, and August C. Eiceman as the newly seated county commissioner for the second district.

Special Election Grants Subsidy for Local Traction Line
Grass township approved a 19500 subsidy for Evansville Carisney and Eastern traction company by 160 vote majority. The plan extends traction from Boonville to Lynnville in Warrick county and Boonville to Chrisney with surveys to begin in about two weeks. In November 1911 another subsidy of 13500 was approved for Cars Township to Palace sew bahn in the same county.
