High School marks and wartime letters from France noted. Stone the jail escapee remains at large. investigations point to local deacons and elders.
James W. Savage died Wednesday night January 8 at Walker hospital Evansville aged 35 years and seven days after illness from grippe since Christmas day. Funeral services will be held this afternoon from his home on Eighth Street conducted by Rev. M. O. Robbins. Interment in Shiloh Cemetery. The deceased was connected with Savage's dry goods store.
Mr and Mrs Charles Salm mourn the death of Payne Salm following a brief Thursday afternoon illness. The family home in the city was the scene of condolences as friends offered sympathies. Funeral arrangements are pending with local undertakers.
