Aldrich-Cannon Tricks Again In Congress
A long critical piece argues Congress fails to pass key measures and blames the Aldrich-Cannon leadership. It accuses Senate and House leaders of obstruction, deflects blame from the President, and notes bills like the Edge foreign financing measure and reconstruction reforms being delayed or debated amid political maneuvering. The piece cites Hays and Mendell among Republican leaders and references President Wilson’s readiness to sign constructive bills.
