Longtime county resident Eliza Clarke dies at 101
Mrs Eliza Clarke born Kentucky June 21 1817 died December 27 after five years illness at Hatfield buried there. She was 101 years 6 months 6 days old. Survived by son Wm M Tilley and daughter Mrs Fanny Thurman with 13 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Funeral conducted by Rev Charles A Roush last Sunday.

Rev N F Gabbert Dies After Short Illness
The Rev N F Gabbert formerly of Evansville and seven years pastor at Little Pigeon church in this county died Christmas morning in Owensboro Kentucky after a three day illness of double pneumonia. Born April 23 1849 at Cloverport Kentucky his body was taken to Evansville for burial. He was widely known in the county and had many friends here.
