Emma Vawter Weds Louis Eigert in Walnut Street Home

Miss Emma Vawter and Louis Eigert of Clarendon Ark were married Tuesday evening at the Vawter home. Rev Edwin H Boldrey officiated. The couple left for Clarendon where Eigert is foreman at a local button factory. Out of town guests included Miss Pearl Spitz Newburg Mrs Julia Higemann Evansville and Mr and Mrs Harry Vawter Cincinnati.

Will of Fredrick Kokomoor Recorded in Clerk's Office

The will of Fredrick Kokomoor, who died recently, is entered of record. Debts and legal charges are to be paid first. His widow Mary Kokomoor is to receive the estate while she remains widowed, and if she remarries, she will take an portion by law with the children sharing the remainder. Will Move House for Big Improvements in Williamson Street

H W Smith has contracted with Robert Corbett to remove moulding sand from the hill near his West Williamson street premises. The hill will be lowered twelve to fifteen feet and graded. Smith will move his residence forward about thirty feet and undertake extensive improvements after grading.

Rev. W. L. Guard, pastor of the Lutheran church, returned home Saturday after a two week trip. He attended his niece Anna School wedding in Muncie Indiana and then, with his three brothers, visited his Iowa childhood scenes while Mrs. Guard stayed in Logansport Indiana.

The Sunday school at Rockport Presbyterian Church has completed installing new windows in the church. After saving surplus cash for four years, the project cost $225 and enhances the building’s beauty.

Leslie Gordon Niblack of Guthrie Oklahoma and Miss Francis Lilian Haskell daughter of the Oklahoma governor were married in the Senate chamber of the state house in Guthrie Wednesday night March 31 at eight o clock. The couple left for a bridal trip to New Orleans Havana and Japan and will be gone several months.

County moves to option election with 2000 names

A petition for the county option election was filed and approved by the board of commissioners. The filing shows over 2000 names supporting the measure. The election is scheduled for Tuesday May 4.
