William Glackman and Dorris Rue, two young men, were shot while returning from a party of high school students and friends Tuesday evening. Aged Citizen Dies After Illness in Huff Township
Lindsay Bunner aged eighty nine years four months and six days died of pneumonia after a three week illness at his Huff township home on Friday March 31. He was a prominent local figure and one of three surviving Mexican War soldiers in Spencer county. Survived by seven children and his wife, he was a lifelong Democrat. Funeral held Friday at the Christian church near Meeks school house with Rev. R. A. Stevens presiding.
