Veteran settler Mr Berry dies at 90 in Ottobine
The obituary notes the death of Mr. Berry aged 90 years and six days at 4 30. He was a tanner from 1868 to 1888, later a farmer, and lived in Ottobine. He married three times. six children survive from the first marriage and three from the second. He remained active among neighbors until about a year ago. Funeral services will be at the United Brethren church in Ottobine, conducted by Rev L J Heatwole.

Fatally Hurst in Sawmill Near Zepp
Tsaue Herbaugh of Shenandoah county was killed instantly Saturday eight miles from Maurertown while working on a sawmill for R A Orndorff. Riding the mill carriage as it ran backward, he was pressed against the saw in a grisly accident. He was 47, leaving a wife and eight children.
