P E O Sisterhood Moves Supreme Chapter to Mount Pleasant
Mrs. Sarah T. Andrews announces the supreme chapter of the P. E. O. will relocate to Mount Pleasant with a permanent home in the new $125,000 memorial library building on Iowa Wesleyan College campus. The sisterhood was organized by nine young ladies, students at the college in 1867, and Omaha has served as national headquarters in recent years.

NEMS from Ireton C Hiedebrink, a long time farmer and pioneer resident, was found dead in bed Friday morning. He had been in his usual health Thursday. Physicians list heart failure as the cause. He leaves eleven grown children. his wife died three months ago. Burial Tuesday from the Lutheran Church with Rev J Rich Schmidt presiding. Interment in Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Tragic death shocks Ireton area community
The terror of Sunday night ends in the suicide of Peter Shoemaker son of Mr and Mrs T C Shoemaker. His body was found by his father around midnight after he failed to return home. Funeral plans have not yet been set.
