IPS hearings on Iowa Public Service rate increase

The Iowa Commerce Commission resumed public hearings on Iowa Public Service Company rate increase filed last December. Three finance experts Dr Walter Matton Williame Stott and Dr Robert Blixt testified on IPS earnings costs inflation and investor behavior. They supported a target return around 8.5 percent to 8.75 percent and urged regulatory approval to attract institutional investment.
