Keegan Receives Government Grant For Vern Fry Rites Held
Jim Keegan son of Clarence Keegan earned a $300 government grant lasting four years with yearly increases to $500 if his GPA remains 1.406 or higher. He posted a 3.64 freshman GPA at Kansas State University now a sophomore. Funeral services for Vern Fry 74 were Monday at Porter Funeral Home in Inwood with burial in Richland Cemetery. Fry died Thursday at Sioux Center hospital after a brief illness born March 4 1992 in Rock Valley. Survivors include sister Edna Miller of Rochester Minnesota.
