ASC Elections At County Convention Report
Feld presided Saturday morning as ASG delegates elected J. Obbik as Vice-Chairman for a one year term and Henry Reinders as regular member for a three year term. John B. Draager was re-elected Chairman with two years left on his term following a resignation by Gerrit Harmelink. Township committeemen slate included Jake Abma and Wendell Toenjes as alternates. Also reported are results for Garfield Vernon and Sioux Valley precincts with multiple chairmen, vice chairmen, members and alternates listed. RV men attended Wayne program highlighting profit opportunities in animal agriculture and the potential for higher efficiency and profits amid weather, disease, and market risks.
