Death of John McNamara in Rock Valley area
John McNamara died at age twenty one in Rock Valley on March 15 1995 at 7 15 AM in the presence of family. Born May 20 1904 on the home farm near Rock Valley he was son of Mrs and Mrs Michael McNamara. He finished eighth grade then St Marys Academy Rock Valley and attended Iowa State College Ames before health issues caused him to withdraw. He had been living at home with his parents prior to a decline in health about a week before his death.
