Sioux City Firm Wins Low Bid for Golf Course Addition Pipe
The council awarded D A Davis Construction of Sioux City the low bid of 82279.50 for four alternates including cast iron pipe on the Walter extension in Golf Course Addition. GM Contracting of Lake Crystal ranked next at 83899.50. Completion aimed for July 1 with storm sewers and roads. June Goldman outlined insurance hurdles delaying public transportation funding. Storm sewer work set for April 12 at 7 p.m. and completion target August 1. Building permits approved for Gene Driesen and Ed Klemp for a 54 by 50 structure on 14th Street.
