The Legislature enacts a dog rabies vaccination law requiring owners of six month or older to vaccinate and obtain a certificate from a licensed vet. Field Assessors require the certificate with a county license application. Fees range from one to three dollars by sex, with penalties and liens for nonpayment after May 1.
