County Warehousing Board appointed by the State Dept of Agriculture invites Farmers of Sioux County to apply for corn loans at 45 cents per bushel secured by a warehousing certificate. Sealers will inspect and seal cribs, issue loan blanks, and arrange loans through banks or government agencies.

1934 Auto Plates On Sale December First

Auto license plates for 1934 go on sale December 1 with the same scale as previous years. The delinquent date is February 1, instead of January 1. Storage affidavits required for cars stored. 1933 plates must be turned in by January 1. If filed before year end, cars may be used during 1934 with full year fee and no penalty.

Albia Iowa resident Justice Turner was working at a typewriter in a small inner room when a ceiling collapse occurred minutes later. Plaster fell from the room he had just left, smashing the typewriter and chair but causing no injuries.

Christian Reformed Church Service Schedule and Elections
