Sioux County Fair Opens with Full Livestock Pens and Weeklong Events
The Sioux County Fair runs August 22 to 29 with entry day on August 22 and exhibits due by Tuesday evening. Judging begins Wednesday at 9 AM, and 658th graduates will receive diplomas at 10 AM in the grandstand with Agnes Samuelson delivering the commencement address. Two clever swindlers visited Rock Rapids in short succession. In the first case a stranger entered a grocery with a list and a 100 pound sack of sugar to take out to the car and vanished.
