Local C E S chapter meetings and Mulder wedding tribute
The Rock Valley C E S met in regular session at their lodge on Monday night with plans for an April visit by the District Instructor. Hostesses were Mrs W B Hangen and Mrs A L Halstead. On Friday night April 3 relatives and friends gathered at Mr and Mrs John Mulder’s home near Rock Valley to honor the couple married February 25. Mr and Mrs Mulder received many gifts and a light lunch was served. Irene Roords, fresh beauty culture graduate, plans to open a Rock Valley beauty shop later this week. Helen Roorda, from Iowa City, joined Irene in Des Moines and will spend Easter at the parental home.

Me and Mrs. Al De Weerdt and the children of Orange City were guests Wednesday in the Art Van Boven horst home. Mr and Mrs Hans Moeller and family and Mrs Carl Preikset and two sang were Sunday dinner guests in the Chas P Moeller home. Cecil Thomas was a Sunday visitor in the Eldo Banch home near LeMars.
