Nationwide Campaign Against Rats Led by U S Government
The United States government plans a coast to coast rat control campaign with farmers, aiming to reduce grain losses by 200 million bushels annually. Last Rites Held For Mrs Van Nimwegen At Local Church
Funeral services for Mrs. Ger tit Van Nimwegen 37 were held Monday at the Methodist church with Rev. M K Jones officiating. She died last Thursday in LeMars hospital after a lengthy illness. She and Gerrit Van Nimwegen were married Sept 30 1826 and lived in Rock Valley before this. Burial was in Valley View cemetery with pallbearers named. Survivors include husband Gerrit and three sisters in Minnesota Iowa and California and a brother in California.
