Plague Deaths Rise as San Francisco Sees More Cases

The steamer Columbia of the Central City Packet company departed at 4 o'clock for its final regular trip of the season. The Helen Blair will continue service to Burlington and Muscatine on select days while river traffic lasts. A seven day cruise to St Paul is planned for September 21 with limited passengers, and the Diamond to boat Sidney arrived at Seventeenth Street landing at 12 45 today on its last northbound trip.
