Despondent over ill health for months Mrs Mary Petersen wife of Peter Petersen a long time Mueller Lumber mill foreman died by suicide by drowning in the cistern in the yard of their Davenport home at 203 South Lincoln Avenue Yesterday morning Petersens search failed to find her until neighbors discovered the cistern cover raised and her body brought to the surface by grappling hooks The Petersen family native of Germany arrived in 1882 and she was 50 years old
