Storm kills ten in Nebraska towns in Seward area
A destructive tornado formed southwest of McCool Junction and moved northeast, striking Seward Tamaro and McCool Junction. Eight died and 14 injured in Seward. Tamaro reported four deaths. McCool Junction suffered heavy damage and two deaths. Telecommunication lines were demolished, cutting trunk lines to Denver. Omaha reported minor damage as the storm moved eastward.
