Svetion Fore Aaron Smith of the Chicago Peoria and St Louis railroad uncovered an attempted wreck at the junction of the Chicago Pearl and St Louis and the Chicago Burmio and Quney railroads. A wedged iron piece four inches wide and one inch thick blocked a frog on both tracks. Trains passed safely as section men and detectives investigated the effort.
