Seven perish in Fox Lake storm and launch lost
Fox Lake Illinois May 9 body of Mrs Mabel Hansen 25 of Chicago recovered this morning after a party of seven was drowned in a lake storm. Others believed drowned are Herman Huhn 19 Ingelside George Russell 25 Ingelside Jake Hoef er 25 Dee Plaines Mike Klunder 24 Lovis Truschker 26 and an unidentified man. The group had left the Lippincott hotel for Fay View hotel on Nippersing Lake in a 16 foot steel launch. Four crushed to death near Black Creek Wisconsin Gretchen Rosenberg and three Barth daughters ages 9 to 13 were crushed by gravel while aiding cows retrieval.
