Osborne Dies From Electric Shock at 23
Henry Osborne, 23, died in Davenport hospital from an electric shock and burns suffered at work on a Rock Island Southern coal car near Gilchrist. Born October 28, 1890 in Grand Rapids, he lived in Kalamazoo and Chicago before moving to Rock Island a year ago. He married Lena Peterson on November 23, 1910, and is survived by his wife, two sons Orville and Elmer, his father Peter Osborne and brother Jacob.

Terre Haute Indiana March 24 Ern est McWilliams aged 15 broke into a gunshop early today when police called on him to surrender he fired. Police with riot guns forced a barricade in a rear auto and fired as the auto and shop windows were riddled. After many wounds the boy surrendered his condition serious. He had five loaded revolvers and several rifles and shotguns in the auto. A police record ties him to prior shootings on both sides of the border.

William A. Dorr was executed in Charlestown prison for the murder of George E. Marsh a Lynn retiree. Dorr entered the chamber with a prayer and declined, his adviser Rev. Arthur E. Convicts Return to Joliet After Joy Ride Escape
Edward Smith and James McGee, life-term trustees, fled Joliet penitentiary last night and spent the evening in Chicago. They surrendered four blocks from the prison saying the warden treated them well and they did not want to violate his confidence. In Des Moines, William Richards known as Big Bill Richards faces possible return to Fort Madison after masked men robbed Mrs. Lafore.
