March 24 One million German pigs are billeted on Belgian civilians in Het stom. Belgians must feed and care for the animals regardless of class. A Mirweeds resident was compelled to take 15 hours of what he calls reduced rates by the week. Fodder shortages exist in Germany but belgium supplies are near normal. German authorities maintain a complex billeting system, though it occasionally breaks down and apartment occupants find themselves caring for several pigs.
