French Girl Buried With Military Honors in Belfort
Mile Seiler a 21 year old Parisian who left home to serve as a volunteer nurse in the war was buried with military honors at Belfort France Tuesday. She followed the French army in the winter campaign in Alsace and volunteered for service in a military hospital near Belfast where she contracted typhoid fever and died. An order announced that the Medal of Honor had been granted in view of her services.
