Fire Destroys Brick Building on Eighteenth Street
Fire at 3 15 yesterday afternoon nearly destroyed a brick building on Eighteenth Street and Twentieth Avenue, once a brewery. Owned by Mrs. Mary Wet Sell and occupied by Andrew Ellstrom, the fire likely started by Ellstrom children playing with matches near a woodshed. Firemen arrived after the blaze had gained headway. The structure valued at 2000 was insured, and little Hilstrom furniture was saved. Purse for Deserving Woman and other local items follow.
