Fireman killed as roof collapses at North High School
In Minneapolis on June 18 a blaze at North High School left one fireman dead and five others seriously injured as the gable above the roof entrance collapsed while hoses were being hauled to the fourth floor. The walls buckled and bricks rained down, sending workers 15 feet to the sidewalk. The fire’s cause was not determined.
