Hazardous pursuit as posse battles Union Pacific robbers

Omaha dispatch details a Cheyenne report on a Casper hunt for Union Pacific train robbers. The posse, Hazen, Herstand, Lee Devine and seven others, were forced to retreat after robbers shot three horses and stampeded two more near Teapot rocks. The chase paused at night and resumed at Dugout creek, with Payton and Long wounded. the robbers slipped away into rocky terrain.
