Edinburgh July 24 Vedrines the Frenchman maintains the lead in the London Mail prize aviation race. He covered 343 miles from Hendon to Edinburgh in under six hours. Beaumont misstarted first, Vedrines pulled ahead, Harrogate to Newcastle to Edinburgh legs followed. Wermann later flew a trial, then headed toward Edinburgh at high speed.
