New York February 17 Charles W Morse a financier and former banker was indicted by a grand jury on perjury charges for testimony before a prior grand jury and charged with two counts of grand larceny and misappropriation of Mercantile National Bank funds He was released on 320 000 bail after pleading not guilty and a hearing was set for the following Monday Morse defended himself stating his trips abroad were for business and rest and denying any justice department wrongdoing.
