A Paducah street car carrying about thirty people was struck by a Manchester Nashville Chattanooga St Louis passenger train near Union Station. Ten to twelve injured, one feared fatally. high profile victims include J. W. Helsley Woodmen of the World deputy state organizer and Clarence Knowles Illinois Central water power superintendent. Motorman accused of attempting to beat the train. car pushed thirty feet.
