Crooke was knocked out in the 12th round despite Governor Yates attempting to stop it. Two lives lost in hotel fire at Exposition Hotel

In Binghamton Nova Scotia on February 6, Harey Solverson a musician and Sid Holland a horseman died in a blaze that destroyed the Exposition hotel totey. Twenty five people were in the building most escaped with injuries.

Nation on the Warpath in Hatchet Attack Tour

Topeka reports Mrs Carrie Nation and two companions began a joint smashing tour at five in the morning.
