Fires of a Day Ravage Three Cities in Midwest

Fires in St Louis and Dayton caused major damage with insured losses and deaths. In St Louis the St Lawrence O Foole parochial school suffered asphyxiation deaths of Sister Stanislaus and pupil Mary Foley as 700 pupils escaped. Dayton saw half a million in damage to warehouses and factories including Wolf and Sons and Benedici companies, with Wolf & Sons as heaviest losers and insured losses at 33000. Titus biennial election bill passes house in Des Moines
