Five battleships of Admiral Evans squadron swung out into the Gulf of Paria to adjust compasses then returned to anchor. The fleet plans to depart Port of Spain for Rio Janeiro Sunday morning after finishing coaling. A 2000-strong sailor influx roamed town as officers attended races and private dances honoring visitors.
