Mary Mabelers Rogers of Pennington Vermont was convicted of first degree murder for the August 13 1902 killing of her husband Marcus Rogers. The plot involved binding his hands chloroforming and bodily disposal in a river with accomplices including Leon Perham and Estela Bates.
