Bomb Explodes Killing Four In Ardsley On Hudson

Fire caused by a bomb blast destroys the central section of Ardsley on Hudson early Sunday killing a family of four. William Johnson, 25, his wife Elizabeth Johnson, 32, and their two children William, 5, and Margaret, 1, die. The husband perished while trying to save them. Michael Irello is missing. Taxicab wrecks in fog near 824 Twenty-fifth street

A Totten's Auto driver escaped injury when his taxicab veered in darkness and fog, ran over a curb, and plowed into the yard at Richard Gleason's home at 824 Twenty-fifth street. Front wheel fender and axle were damaged as residents woke to the crash. streetcar operations were hindered by fog and several collisions narrowly avoided. A Copper ruling conference is planned in Washington with Utah and Montana governors backing the proposal for producers affected by Great Britain's copper shipment limits.
